This policy explains how personal data is processed on jackpot-records.com (the “Website”) under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian data protection law.

1. Data controllers

The Website is run by Jackpot Records. The data controllers are the two founders, jointly:

2. What data we process, why, and on what basis

Browsing data. When you visit the Website, our hosting server automatically records technical data such as your IP address, date and time of the request, pages requested, browser and device type. We use it to deliver the Website and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is kept only for the period set by the hosting provider and no longer than necessary.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4), only with your consent. If you press “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to see how the Website is used: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser, how you arrived, and clicks on outbound links. This data is used in aggregated form to improve the Website. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Analytics data is kept for 14 months. If you press “Reject”, Google Analytics is not loaded.

Demo submissions. The “Submit your demo” button opens a Google Form. The information you enter there (for example your name, email address, links to your music and any message) is used only to evaluate your submission and reply to you. Legal basis: steps you request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering you. We keep it for as long as needed to evaluate and follow up your submission, and delete it on request. Google acts as our service provider for the form.

Privacy requests. If you write to the address above, we use your message and email address only to answer you.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The Website does not use advertising or profiling cookies. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets these cookies in your browser:

• _ga and _ga_08202642CY: distinguish visitors and sessions, duration up to 2 years.

We also save your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage so that we do not ask you again. This is strictly technical and does not require consent.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Choosing “Reject” also removes the Google Analytics cookies already set.

4. Who receives your data

• Our hosting provider, which stores the Website and its server logs.
• Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics and Google Forms). Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the United States, relying on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

We do not sell your data. The Website does not load fonts or other resources from third-party servers, apart from Google Analytics after you accept.

5. Links to other websites

The Website links to external services such as Beatport, Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Instagram and the websites of our founders and affiliated label. These services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they process your data.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect processing done before). Write to privacy@jackpot-records.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

7. Changes

We may update this policy when the Website changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
